At DIMECC, Risto is involved in FIIF, FAME, DIMECC’s co-creation services, and portfolio management. Risto is a member of DIMECC’s Management Team and the permanent secretary of DIMECC’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining DIMECC in 2014 Risto worked over 27 years at Nokia in various management and leadership positions in Finland and in the U.S. In addition to gaining wide experience from the telecommunications industry, Risto was involved in several strategy implementation and change management projects. His specialties include strategy and business development, planning and analysis, partnering and collaboration, program/project management, as well as coaching and mentoring. Risto is also a trained scenario facilitator.
