DIMECC and MAKE in Finland ecosystem are partnering with Subcontracting Fair taking place 30.9.–2.10.2025 in Tampere.
We will bring current topics in manufacturing to the stage. MAKE, that brings already together over 50 manufacturing companies, will organise on Tuesday a seminar on reinforced competitiveness built through strong networks.
“We will showcase concrete results of collaboration, such as better transparency through data sharing or material development, and discuss how companies of all sizes work together. Collaboration pays off – and it should cover the entire value chain, because sustainable competitiveness cannot be achieved alone, but only when working all together,” says Ecosystem Lead Clémentine Arpiainen.
Sustainable manufacturing will also be discussed from the perspective of additive manufacturing, as it enables new types of design and reduces the need for materials. In addition, the programme will cover ESG reporting and the changing role of software engineering. On Thursday, the focus will shift to students: what kinds of jobs are available in manufacturing now and in the future, and what skills are needed for them.
