As an insider of European innovation systems and technology companies’ foresight and roadmaps, Harri is an active speaker, evaluator and writer regarding research & innovation activities, strategies, and policies. He started working in machine building and manufacturing business in 1990’s, changed from business to academic atmosphere and published more than 140 articles and reports on leadership and management in technology companies in 2000’s. In 2010’s, he has led DIMECC Ltd. as one of the first and largest public private partnership actors in Europe. Harri has experience on all the versatile aspects of inter-organisational collaboration and co-creation.
At DIMECC, Risto is involved in FIIF, FAME, DIMECC’s co-creation services, and portfolio management. Risto is a member of DIMECC’s Management Team and the permanent secretary of DIMECC’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining DIMECC in 2014 Risto worked over 27 years at Nokia in various management and leadership positions in Finland and in the U.S. In addition to gaining wide experience from the telecommunications industry, Risto was involved in several strategy implementation and change management projects. His specialties include strategy and business development, planning and analysis, partnering and collaboration, program/project management, as well as coaching and mentoring. Risto is also a trained scenario facilitator.

Tomi has more than twenty years of experience on all organizational levels from a global corporate management team executive to a design team member. He has previously worked as CDO (Chief Digital Officer), and VP MOM Software business of Fastems Oy Ab, a supplier of MOM software, flexible manufacturing systems, and robotics-based automation.
Rauno has more than twenty years of experience at KONE, most recently as a member of the Global Technology and Innovation Management Team. He has previously worked as Head of Technology Management, KONE Technology and Innovation, responsible of Technology Management, Research, Patenting and Ideation. Rauno has built many ecosystems like KEKO (smart building ecosystem) and ISUF (intelligent sustainable urban flow), Rauno has also been responsible of KONE Veturi.

Sinikka is a seasoned leader with long experience in the transport industry. She has hands-on experience in shipping, as she started her career by sailing on merchant ships before joining the Finnish maritime and transportation administration, where she held several director and managerial positions. Sinikka has a wealth of experience working within diverse cultural and professional environments and has a proven track record of effectively building and maintaining relationships with partners and stakeholders from around the world.

Arto has over 30 years’ experience in managing automation R&D in Finnish and international metal industry (Rauma-Repola, Rauma, Metso, John Deere). He joined DIMECC as program manager 2014.
At DIMECC, Doris’ role includes preparing and managing EU projects that have a special focus on supporting SMEs in the manufacturing industry via digitalization, sustainability, as well as upskilling and re-skilling. Doris is also responsible for DIMECC’s Demobooster service that aims to boost innovation by providing a match-making platform for appliers and producers.
Doris has over 10 years of experience working in different areas such as research and education, project management, communication, marketing, and sales. She has international experience from Brazil where she lived for 5 years and also worked as an entrepreneur. Doris’ educational background is in biomaterials engineering and she has also studied corporate communication, industrial management, and languages. She completed her Vocational Teacher Education studies at JAMK in 2020.

Prior to DIMECC, Marko worked for Traficom. He has extensive experience in maritime administration. During his career, he has attended more than fifty meetings of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and a number of meetings on the regulation and control of maritime transport in the European Union.
Marko is also a Captain and Master Mariner. Deck-side duties on crew and officers on crude oil and gas tankers and on container, ro-ro and dry cargo vessels, as well as duties on supervising the construction of new vessels as a representative of a shipping company or authority, provide a practical perspective on regulatory work.

Before joining DIMECC, Phong spent 4 years working with interdisciplinary R&D and innovation projects in international settings at KONE, F-Secure, and WithSecure. He has coordinated many projects from conception to launch, driven cross-functional teams, and conducted multidisciplinary research. He has been involved in initiatives like smart city, virtual reality and digital twin in the construction industry, and AI in cybersecurity to improve existing and develop new products and services. Phong’s expertise is in design thinking to solve wicked problems that many companies face nowadays in the ever-changing world. He has helped and hopes to continue assisting companies in adopting and innovating technologies in a more user-centric manner. Phong holds an MSc. (Tech) in International Design Business Management from Aalto University and a BSc. (Eng) in Environmental Engineering from XAMK.
