DIMECC is Recruiting: We are looking for two DIGITAL TRANSFORMERS

The future will be co-created. Europe needs co-creation to facilitate the Twin transition – digital and green. Technologies, competences, earnings logics, business practices and management cultures call for change. DIMECC will make this change happen.

DIMECC is the leading co-creation platform for digital transformation and boosts the competitiveness of technology businesses with ambitious initiatives. DIMECC is now looking for two (2) junior facilitators to help and support SMEs in their digital transformation path. Our facilitators work within EU-wide and EU-funded projects targeted to grow the digital capabilities, competencies, and skills of SMEs and to help our industrial customers in their twin transition efforts.

We are looking for two DIGITAL TRANSFORMERS

The specific areas for the facilitators are:

  • Sustainability reporting tools in ICT industry. You will develop the methodology and pilot a publicly accessible sustainability reporting tool for the service (including the ICT) sector together with project partners from the Baltic Sea Region as well as relevant companies (both SMEs and larger companies) and authorities. Environmental technology and policy studies combined with legal and economic understanding (especially Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, CSRD, as well as ESG principles) would form a good background for this position. Ideally, you also have an understanding of ICT, software and digital tools.
  • Coaching, up-skilling, and re-skilling of SME personnel. You will co-design learning and education course offering for manufacturing SMEs together with universities and education providers as well as clusters. The courses are based on already existing courses in the areas of AI, IoT, robotics, and cyber security. They will also include foundational components such as digital twins and additive manufacturing. You will disseminate the courses to relevant stakeholders and play an active role in project activities in order to ensure a successful implementation and timely delivery of KPIs. Engineering or software studies combined with educational understanding (pedagogics) would form a good background for this position.

Your role as the digital transformer includes specifically the analysis and structuring of the SME needs and creation of solutions to tackle these needs. You will be part of the project team, which is led by a responsible manager. You can work at DIMECC offices in Helsinki, Tampere or Turku.

These are unique opportunities, if you want to drive green and digital transition and guide SMEs towards ambitious goals. We expect that you have

  • some experience in digitalization, manufacturing industry or SMEs.
  • result orientation, strong analytical mindset, and holistic thinking.
  • experience in facilitation & coaching, and good presentation skills.
  • willingness to travel and to work at customer sites occasionally.

You will be more likely successful in these roles, if you have:

  • Can-do/proactive attitude, passion for new initiatives, and willingness to support others
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex topics both in written and spoken Finnish and English.
  • Previous experience in EU-wide and EU-funded projects or digitalisation activities in companies
  • networks in manufacturing industry, especially SMEs

Please send your application for these positions to EU Relations and Collaboration Manager Doris Pryjma doris.pryjma(at)dimecc.com before November 1st, 2022.
