Manufacturing Performance Days (MPD) 2027 will be held at Tampere Hall, Finland, on 9–10 June 2027. The tenth edition of the event will be organised under the theme “Towards Autonomous Industry” and will bring together industrial leaders, investment decision-makers and internationally recognised experts to discuss the next transformation of manufacturing.
MPD is the largest and longest-running manufacturing industry leadership forum in the Nordic countries. The year 2027 marks an important milestone as the biennial event will be organised for the tenth time. Since its establishment in 2007, MPD has brought manufacturing leaders, technology influencers and decision-makers to Tampere to discuss the future of industry, challenge prevailing thinking and help shape the next wave of industrial growth and transformation.
The central theme of MPD2027, Towards Autonomous Industry, explores the transition towards industrial operating models in which artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and emerging technologies enable an increasing share of decision-making and operational activities to take place without continuous human intervention. The programme will address topics such as agentic AI as a new way of working, the productivity gains enabled by humanoid robotics, future manufacturing scenarios, and investment priorities in a rapidly changing industrial environment.
The event will also place a stronger emphasis on bringing together leaders responsible for investment decisions, including CFOs, with business and technology leaders to discuss future industrial investments and competitiveness.
The objective of MPD is to accelerate transformation through practical action.
“MPD is designed to help business leaders navigate the major transformations shaping manufacturing and understand their implications for business. At the same time, the event provides practical tools, partners and operating models that enable organisations to take immediate action and prepare for the future today,” says Harri Kulmala, Operational Director of MPD and CEO of DIMECC Ltd.
Partners already confirmed for Manufacturing Performance Days 2027 include Fastems, Dassault Systèmes, DIMECC and Siemens.
