Speaker presentations:

Heli Koski (Ph.D., Econ.) is research director at ETLA Economic Research. Her previous affiliations include work as a lecturer at the London School of Economics and Professor of Technology Management at Helsinki School of Economics. Her recent research has focused on the data economy, competition and the economic analysis of innovation and business strategies.

Päivi Koivisto (M.Sc. Env. Tech., eMBA) is Cargotec’s Vice President, Sustainability. She has over 20 years of experience in different environmental and sustainability positions, previously from UPM.
Markku Korkiakoski is a Director of Cybersecurity at Netox. He has a long and extensive history in the field of cybersecurity from both national and international domains. Mr. Korkiakoski is a DIMECC Fellow and an active promoter of cybersecurity and digital trust. He is in the management board of Finnish Information Security Cluster, a work group member in the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board of Security and Software Engineering Research Center (S2ERC, NSF USA-FIN). He is also in the advisory board of Business Finland digitalization theme.

 

 

Henry Haverinen (D.Sc. Tech.) is a Senior Cybersecurity Leader at Insta. His previous affiliation was the Co-founder, Chairman and Head of Technology at Intopalo Oy, which is now a part of Insta. Henry leads cybersecurity teams and architecture initiatives by combining product management skills, cybersecurity, system architecture knowledge and agile leadership.

 

 

 

 

Jarmo Lilja is a process development manager, responsible for SSAB’s external R&D management in Finland at SSAB Europe Oy, Raahe steel works. He has 32 years of working experience in the company in different positions within metallurgy of iron and steelmaking. Current main topic is in R&D for conversion of Raahe steel works to fossil-free steelmaking.

 

 

 

 

Pekka Rantala is an expert on coaching customers’ added value from EU funding and networks. In his official role, he acts as national Horizon Europe National Contact Point and Business Finland’s representative for European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Centre in Espoo. He digs deeply all the digital stuff in 3 Horizon Europe clusters: Cluster 3 (Security); Cluster 4 (Digital, Industry and Space) and Cluster 5 (Climate, Energy and Mobility)

 

 

Harri Kulmala, CEO of DIMECC, started working in machine building and manufacturing business in 1990’s, changed from business to academic atmosphere and published more than 140 articles and reports on leadership and management in technology companies in 2000’s. In 2010’s, he has led DIMECC Ltd. as one of the first and largest public private partnership actors in Europe.
