Manufacturing Performance Days Leads Technology Decision Makers from Factory Visits to the Industrial Metaverse

The industry-reforming summit, Manufacturing Performance Days (MPD), is known for its side-events, where the latest technology information and business applications open views and actions to the Future.

Manufacturing Performance Days, taking place in June, focuses on the theme “Sustainable and Resilient Growth”. The future of the manufacturing industry is the core of the side events organized by the partners.

This year, the themes of the accompanying seminars are, for example, human-centered industrial metaverse, future competences in manufacturing, and the possibilities of 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

As usual, MPD offers opportunities for factory visits, which this year are Fastems technology center and the Sandvik factory.

The Austrian Ministry returns for cross-border collaboration

The Austrian-Finnish collaboration side event taking place on Monday is themed “Industry 4.0 for a resource efficient and cleaner production”.

”We have participated in several previous MPD editions and feel that it gives a great opportunity to develop European networks in manufacturing and aim for common goals, which can’t be reached by any company or country alone. The feedback we have had from the Austrian delegation has been compelling each time. We are looking forward to identify and launch the next generation new initiatives with the Finns this year once again”, says Mr. Alexander Pogány from Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Austria.

Side events are organized by Fastems, VTT, SIXNET network, Tampere University, Ministry of Austria, FAME ecosystem and DIMECC.
